Skunk Ape I woke up in a tent in a forest and immediately turned on Lav & Purl, followed it up with a Purl album, and then a dubtechno album while waking up and breaking down camp. When I got back into cellphone service I checked my email and a notification for this album was in it. A Purl dubtechno album... Literally exactly where my head was at. I purchased it without even listening to it. I’ve had it on the past couple days and it’s amazing. Perfect.

Lasse Hoile Absolutely wondrous album this is!! With some inklings of GAS, Porter Ricks and a bit reminiscent of say, CV313 and the chums at Echospace Detroit - dub’ish in the good sense! Would be good to see a proper CD release for us who still like to listen from physical products (tape’s just too much plastic especially this day and age compared to a lush cd in a nice cardboard digipak with a bonus cd of remixes and extended versions (naturally) ! :D There’s a career to be had for these two for sur Favorite track: Tesseract V.

Why do I love this masterpiece of Kinetic sound energy? You have to ask? It's quite evident from the very first track! N'est Pas? This release is deserving of the equivalent of a Grammy IMO! Too bad mainstream music executives and Media are rather "tone deaf" to "genuine" musical talent! But then again, we need that music for the MASSES!
